PRAYER FOR THIS YEAR
1. PRAYER FOR OURSELVES - Praying for others is noble, but we should also make sure that our prayer is genuine by being sincere to ourself and what we pray.. May our mind stay focussed, thoughts be pure and our prayer be powerful. For our own self and for our prayers - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN
May our thoughts be more refined, our mind think more sharply, pro actively and our love be more selfless, this year. - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN
2. PRAYER FOR OUR NATION -
Our nation has been progressing very well in recent years. The trend should continue and our country should become stronger, stronger in economy, stronger in skills, stronger in stability, stronger in protecting herself. The number of people below poverty line should get lesser and lesser, average daily income of our people should keep increasing. People should live peacefully and in harmony. Our nation should be protected against terrorism, terrorist attacks, natural disasters. For the growth of our nation, safety of our citizens and our wellbeing - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN
Our neighboring nations are in a state of turmoil and the ugliest form of terrorism is showing up there.... For us to be peaceful and be happy, it is important that our neighbors remain peaceful as well, at least not as turbulent as they are right now. For the wellbeing of our neighboring nations and protection from terrorism - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN
3. PRAYER FOR OUR MOTHER, FATHER, SISTER(s), BROTHER(s), SPOUSE / LOVER (if applicable), CHILDREN (if applicable) - May our lovable people be blessed with long life, good health and protection against any kind of danger. GOD be with them always and GOD's grace fill their life, May they be more lovable and have a very good life. For our lovables - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN
4. PRAYER FOR HEALTH
Healthy life is Happy life. Nothing else can make us more happier than our family staying healthy. May we all be protected against the deadly diseases like Cancer, Brain tumor, Stroke, Fits, Tuberculosis etc., and we develop immunity to prevent early onset of Heart related problems, Blood pressure, Diabetes etc., For our health - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN
5. PRAYER FOR LOVE
Year 2008 should be the year of love. .... It is true that love is immortal, but love relation need to be transformed to marital relation sooner than later.... There are so many people I know who are in love.. May their love prosper and blossom into marriage life this year. GOD bless each one of them and their love, make them happier... 6. PRAYER FOR SAFETY
May each one of our family be protected against robbery, any forms of assault, terrorist attacks, natural disaster etc., May our girls be protected against sexual harassment, eve teasing, exploitation etc., May we be protected and at the same time be stronger enough to protect ourselves - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN
7. PRAYER FOR SUCCESS
Sisters are completing their graduations. Cousins are moving to their next year in studies. Friends are waiting for a nod from their parents for their love, Some have professional ambitions, some have career aspirations. For each one of our successes - VAAZHGA VALAMUDAN
8. PRAYER FOR 2008
2008 should be safer, the evil forces, terrorists should be defeated, It is so easy to attack something than to protect it.... May God give more strength to the security forces
May the mother Earth please be kind on its people this year, Natural disasters should be very less and the casualty should be far more lesser
May commonsense prevail, and may the accidents be on the decline
